SABATTUS – Elwin “Butch” R. Michaud, 60, of Sabattus, died at home Thursday, July 10. He was the husband of Susannah Michaud.

He was born in Gardiner, July 2, 1948, the son of Reginald and Lula Michaud of Maine.

He was a Navy Vietnam veteran. He served aboard the USS Higbee.

Besides his wife and parents, he leaves six children, Rachelle Spahr of Florida, Kerri Blair, Tonya Jollimore, Tammy Simmons, all of South Attleboro, Mass., and Michelle Fisher and Michael Cannon of Fairhaven; his mother-in-law, Albertina Boswell; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Cheryl Emerson of Wrentham, Mass., a brother, Leo Michaud of Tennessee; and two sisters, Linda Coulombe of Norton, Mass., and Bev-Lee Johnson of Pawtucket, R.I.

He was predeceased by Jackie Michaud.
