All Americans, women in particular, should read and pay heed to Cal Thomas’ column that was printed July 10. What is happening in England is also occurring here, as some people try reshaping this nation by kowtowing to not only the demands of illegal immigrants, but more so to the Muslim refugees arriving from around the world.

In Britain, there’s talk about Muslim neighborhoods as “no-go” zones for non-Muslim people. Then banks stopped giving away piggy banks because the representation of pork offended Muslim customers.

Some say residents have no right to demand refugees assimilate language, dress, customs and laws. It is not so in other countries. Try emigrating to the nations the refugees fled and assimilation is not only expected, it is demanded.

Unfortunately, the wave of Muslim refugees to other countries around the world in recent years have no intention to assimilate the ways of the host nation. Their goal is dominance over that nation’s way of conducting its laws, politics, religion, dress and social customs.

Barack Obama says America is the greatest country on Earth, but wants to change it.
