PARIS – The Oxford County Education Association-Retired has awarded $500 scholarships to four 2008 graduates of area high schools.
Molly Cohen of Oxford is a graduate of Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School. She plans to attend the University of Maine at Farmington and take the early childhood education course.
Rachelle Jewell of Bethel, a graduate of Telstar High School, is also planning to attend UMF.
She will study secondary education with an English major.
Susanna Cooper of Buckfield attended Buckfield High School. Cooper is also planning to attend UMF and take the secondary education course with an English major.
Jennifer Smith of Fryeburg graduated from Fryeburg Academy and will go to the University of Maine in Orono. She will major in art education.
