AUBURN – Robin Dow Senior Citizens will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 23, at the Alden M. Gayton Post 31, American Legion, 426 Washington St. Donations for the usual raffle table will be appreciated. Following a bag lunch, bingo will be played.

Fifty-two members were present for the annual indoor/outdoor picnic held at the American Legion Hall July 9 under the supervision of President Virginia Houston. Activities were opened by a prayer given by Chaplain Patricia Donohue. Doughnuts and coffee were served in the morning and the group played cards along with an assortment of other games.

The main menu, served at noon by Lucien Marcoux and Anita Gavel, consisted of salads, hot dogs and hamburgers, with Don Grant as volunteer cook. Ice cream sundaes were served for dessert.

Super bingo was played for the remainder of the afternoon, with Caroline Chapman the winner of the “bucket of money,” which replaced the usual pot of gold drawing on a trial basis.
