LISBON – The Planning Board will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Town Office meeting room beginning with public hearings on a flood hazard development permit application and a request to change frontage requirements in limited residential districts. After the hearings, the board will consider the application.
Maine Electronics, as part of its DEP supervised groundwater cleanup of the defunct printed circuit board manufacturing company property, which ceased operations in the late 1980s, is seeking a permit for a pilot project to replace an existing filter at its on-site treatment plant with a larger one.
Because it is in a flood zone, it will require approval from both the Planning Board and the Department of Environmental Protection.
Planners will also seek public comment on a proposed change in town ordinances to reduce frontage requirements in limited residential zones.
