Abby Edwards, 4, of Otisfield picks blueberries at Goss Berry Farm in Mechanic Falls on Wednesday. Edwards and her 6-year-old sister, Katie, are “professional berry pickers because they come so often,” said the girls’ grandmother Barbara Maguire. Blueberry muffins are being served for breakfast Thursday morning, Abby said. Ten jars of raspberry jam, 58 jars of strawberry jam and 20 jars of blueberry jam will be made by the Jason and Joanne Edwards family from this season’s berry harvest. The raspberry season still has two weeks left and blueberry pickers have until the end of August, said farm owner Sharon Goss.
