AUBURN – The second race in the Greater L-A Triple Crown 5K Series will be held Saturday with runners at the start at 9 a.m. at Edward Little High School.

Emily’s Run – in memory of EL grad Emily Fletcher – begins at the school, winds down Western Avenue and across Court Street to Park Avenue. From there, it turns right on Gamage Avenue, right on Shepley Street, left on Lake Street, right on Fern Street, left on Granite Street, crossing Court Street at Harris Street, and ends back at the high school.

The streets will not be closed, but motorists can expect traffic to be slow, especially at the two Court Street crossings.

Registration for the event is open, and runners may register at the school Saturday from 8 to 8:45 a.m.

Proceeds from the event go toward two college scholarships in Fletcher’s name, and to the Auburn Public Library.
