SOUTH PARIS – William Encarnacion, father, of Santo Domingo of the Dominican Republic and Belkis Acevedo, mother, also from the Dominican Republic, are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Dr. Xiomara A. Encarnacion of Rochester, N.H., to Greg N. Zemlansky of South Paris.

Miss Encarnacion is a high school and college graduate from Santo Domingo of the Dominican Republic. She has studied and doctored in Cuba and Puerto Rico.

Mr. Zemlansky is a graduate of Richmond High School and colleges of Northeastern and Graham Junior College of Boston, majoring in journalism and broadcasting. He currently works for Gleason Media Services. He is the morning DJ at WOXO Radio in Norway. He also is the basketball, football, baseball and softball announcer. He owns his own DJ service called Greg Allen Entertainment of South Paris. He is also an award-winning poet with his works available in the area.

The wedding is planned for Aug. 2.
