PERU – Arthur and Cynthia Manzer Jr. of Peru are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Katie Lee Manzer of Peru, to Patrick Ryan Houghton of Peru, son of Peter and Judith Houghton of Carthage.

Miss Manzer is a 2001 graduate of Dirigo High School and a 2004 graduate of Central Maine Community College with a degree in business management. She is employed at Dixfield Discount Fuel.

Mr. Houghton is a 2001 graduate of Dirigo High School and attended Central Maine Community College for electro-mechanical. He is employed at NewPage Corp.

The wedding will be held at 4 p.m., Sept. 27, at the Manzer residence.
