FARMINGTON – Dr. and Mrs. Stewart Russell of Topsham are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Holly Elizabeth Russell of South Portland, to Michael Deane Jones of Farmington, son of State Representative Patricia Jones of Mount Vernon and the late Deane Jones.

Miss Russell is a graduate of Mt. Ararat High School, the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Maine School of Law. She is employed at Preti Flaherty in Portland.

Mr. Jones is a graduate of Maranacook Community High School, attended Hampshire College and graduated from the University of Maine at Farmington.

An October wedding is planned in Portland.
