LEWISTON – Lydia T. Riendeau, 94, formerly of 166 Webber Ave., Lewiston, died Friday, July 25, at St. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion following a short illness.

She was born in St. Francois Xavier, P.Q., Dec. 28, 1913, the daughter of Joseph and Delia (Jolin) Theroux.

She was employed in the local textile industry most of her life until her retirement.

She was a member of Holy Cross Church, Holy Cross senior citizens, Cercle d’Youville, and ACA.

She enjoyed her family and was very proud of her home.

Survivors include relatives, in Quebec; and many nieces and relatives.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Riendeau, on Feb. 12, 1993.

The family would like to thank the staff of Sarah Frye Home and St. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion for the special care they extended to Lydia.

Also a special thanks to Dr. Ira Shapiro and Dr. George Morrissette for being so professional and caring.
