LEEDS – Funeral services were held Saturday for Gilbert R. Knight Sr. at the Leeds Community Church. The Rev. Carl Geores and the Rev. George Hardy officiated at the service. Special memories were shared by the Rev. Geores as well as family and friends. Gib’s grandson, Drew Masse sang “Amazing Grace.” Organist was Jerol Ellis. Sam Jackson sang “It is Well with My Soul,” accompanied by Jerol Ellis. A favorite hymn, “O Love that Wilt not let me go” was sung by all that attended. Interment at Leeds Center Cemetery. A reception was held in the vestry after the service. Arrangements under the care of Bragdon-Finley Funeral Home, Monmouth.
