WEST PARIS – Todd M. Smith, 43, of South Paris died in West Paris.

He was born in Norway, on June 17, 1965, the son of Forrest C. Jr. and Elaine Smith.

He was a painter, did construction work and modular setting and worked with his brother, Shawn for a few years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outside camping, music of all kinds and being with his family, whom he loved more than his own life.

He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. He had a wonderful sense of humor. “You’ve got to be one to understand one!” He will be greatly missed by family and friends. He lived his life his way!

He is survived by his mother, Elaine; grandmother, Evelyn Raymond; daughter, Ashly Rolfe and husband, Justin; son, Brodey Smith; grandson, Kashtin Smith; sisters, Karen Stack and partner, John Ponte, Rhonda Lausier and husband, David, and Tammy Dubois and husband, Norman; brother, Shawn Smith and wife, Lisa; nieces, Natasha Dubois and Myriah Lausier; nephews, Addam Stack, Erric Stack and Nathanial Dubois; many aunts and uncles; his long-time companion, Doloris Paine, and extended family, Angela, Tommy Paine, Mike and Amanda Tripp and Jonathan and Steven Paine; he was a grandfather to Skyla, Michael and Ashtin Tripp, Derek and Courtney Paine, Logan Smith, Chloe Paine and Celestia Sterns.
