LEWISTON – A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Lydia T. Riendeau was celebrated Wednesday at Holy Cross Church after prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home. The Rev. Daniel Greenleaf celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. At the beginning of Mass, Lydia’s nieces, Doris Parenteau and Yvonne Bilodeau placed the burial pall on her casket. Readers were nephew, John Crowley, and niece, Rita Crowley. The prayer of the faithful was read by niece, June Orino. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by friends, Therese Morencey and Jackie Fortin. After committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery, all were invited to a reception of fellowship at the Ramada Inn in Lewiston.
