MEXICO – A Mass of Christian Burial for Wilfred U. Hamel Jr., was celebrated Wednesday at Parish of the Holy Savior (St. Theresa’s Catholic Church). The Rev. Angelo LeVasseur was the celebrant. George Gionet was the altar server. Wayne Petrie was the organist. Music selections were “Ave Maria,” “Wind Beneath My Wings” and “Amazing Grace.” Readings were done by his son-in-law, Brian Elliott and sister, Claudette Hladike. Pallbearers were Frederick Hamel, Timothy Hamel, Daniel Hamel, Paul Hamel, Wayne Hamel, Jerry Hamel and Ross Hamel. Interment was in Pineview Cemetery in Roxbury. Services were under the care of SG Thibault Funeral Home, Rumford.
