PARIS – The Paris Department of Parks and Recreation will once again host an art show and festival in historic Moore Park, an event held for the first time last summer.

Originally conceived by local artist Brenda Ellis-Sauro, Moore Art – In the Park will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 2. Rain date: Sunday, Aug. 3.

Last year, the event featured more than 40 fine artists and artisans on the grounds all day, along with revolving music and other performance arts in the gazebo, food vendors and a kids’ corner adjacent to the playground.
