Auburn resident Randy Wagner Morin recently graduated from Assumption College in Worcester, Mass., where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. While at Assumption, Morin was a member of the men’s ice hockey team and was named to the Student-Athlete Honor Roll in 2006, 2007 and 2008.

In 2003, Morin graduated from Edward Little High School where he was a member of the National Honor Society and captained the EL ice hockey team to its first state championship. In 2004, Morin graduated with honors from Hebron Academy’s post graduate program where he played ice hockey and served as captain of the soccer and baseball teams.

Morin is pursuing a master’s degree at Assumption College’s Institute for Social and Rehabilitation Services graduate program.

Auburn resident Ross William Morin recently graduated with a master of fine arts degree in film and video production from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. During his three years at OU, Morin served as an instructor and a teaching associate for a variety of undergraduate classes and received the Graduate Associate Outstanding Teaching Award for 2005/2006.

In addition, he was involved in creating more than 13 original films. Morin’s film, “Les Moulins,” an experimental documentary exploring the collapse of the mills and of cultural identity in Lewiston, was awarded Best Documentary at the 2007 Portland Phoenix Film Festival and has been screened at numerous film festivals across the United States.

A 2001 graduate of Edward Little High School, Morin graduated summa cum laude from Connecticut College in 2005 where he received a bachelor of arts degree with honors and distinction in the major of film studies and with distinction in the major of psychology. He is a member of Phi Kappa Phi and the Connecticut College Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa.

Morin was recently appointed to the position of assistant professor of film studies in the Theatre, Film Studies and Dance Department at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minn.

Randy and Ross are the sons of Kristel Wagner of Auburn and Louis Morin of Greene. Their grandparents are Joan and Raymond Morin of Lewiston and Naomi Wagner and the late Arthur “Bud” Wagner of Livermore and Auburn.
