While everyone worries about the economy, people should not lean on government programs or officials to solve every problem. Money problems can be solved, in part, by going without unnecessary things, thus freeing up money to buy food, gasoline, oil, etc.

As for joblessness, one can create one’s own job, depending on talent and training. I did housework for years. It did not require a college degree. I had several clients. I also took classes and worked as a nurse’s aide.

People can learn to do more cooking, thus saving money on groceries. There is better nutrition in homemade meals than precooked ones full of chemicals.

Planting a garden is a neat way to have vegetables, without hard work or need to plow the land. A small vegetable garden hardly requires any care, simply maintain a good water level to keep things growing.

Instead of moaning about losses, people need to become creative.
