LEWISTON – Oxford Networks, headquartered at 491 Lisbon St., recently hired Rich Winn and Stephen Kangas as field service technicians.
They are responsible for the installation of business and residential customers on Oxford Networks’ Fiber to the Premise network. This work includes aerial fiber optic installation and repair, customer premise wiring, and testing of high-speed data circuits.
Winn comes to Oxford Networks with 23 years’ experience as a technician. Most recently he was employed at Central Maine Communications as a systems engineer. He currently resides in Poland with his wife and son. He enjoys the Maine outdoors, including rafting, canoeing or camping.
Also with a background in field services, Kangas comes to Oxford Networks with 19 years’ experience as a first class transmission and distribution line worker with Central Maine Power. He resides in Sumner with his wife. He is active in his community, having served as a sports coach, fundraiser and Masonic member.
