CENTER CONWAY, N.H. – Shawn P. Smith, 34, of East Conway Road, died Wednesday, July 30, as a result of a motorcycle accident.

He was born in Bridgton, Dec. 25, 1973, a son of Larry and Ellen Benson Smith and attended Conway schools, graduating from Kennett High School.

He was employed in the winters for Stan and Dan Ski Shop for many years and in the summers he was employed by a landscaping company. He was a member of local ski meisters of the area. He enjoyed NASCAR, especially attending the races. He was an avid skier and mountain biker and he especially enjoyed socializing with his friends.

He is survived by his father, Larry Smith and his wife, Sally, of Center Conway; his mother, Ellen Guilford of Lisbon; his maternal grandfather, Robert Benson of Fryeburg; his paternal grandparents, Homer and Edith Smith of Bethel and Betty Hoyt of Conway; two brothers, Corey Guilford of Lisbon and Zachary Smith of Center Conway; two stepbrothers, Doug Guilford of Brownfield and Daniel Guilford of Missouri; one sister, Mary Smith of Center Conway; several aunts, uncles and cousins; one nephew; and his beloved dogs, Jack and Maggie.
