WILTON – Three people were injured Thursday night when a Wilton woman lost control of her vehicle on Routes 2 and 4 near Cemetery Road, police said.
Stephanie Randles, 36, was listed in fair condition Friday at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, a spokesman there said.
Her two passengers, Denae LaGrange, 16, and Elsa Konopka, 15, whose residences were not available Friday, were both treated and released from Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington on Thursday night, a spokeswoman there said.
Wilton officers Douglas Geis and Lt. Richard Caton IV responded to the 10 p.m. accident.
Evidence at the scene suggests that Randles’ vehicle was traveling west on Route 2 when it went out of control and ended up in a ditch that was quickly filling with water, a police statement said.
Wilton Fire Rescue Department responded to extricate the three from the vehicle and NorthStar Emergency Medical Services medics treated them before taking them to to FMH. Randles later was moved CMMC.
The accident remains under investigation, police said.
