LEWISTON – David and Nancy Dubord of Lewiston are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Marie Dubord of Portland, Ore., to Jan Schramke of Eugene, Ore., son of Hanns-Dieter and Ulrike Schramke of Uetersen, Germany.

Miss Dubord is a 1998 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and a 2002 graduate of the University of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She received a master’s degree in higher education in 2007 from the University of Maine and is currently employed as a student organizations advisor at Portland State University.

Mr. Schramke is a 1996 graduate of Realschule Am Probstenfeld and a 2006 graduate of the University of Maine with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and German. He received his master’s degree in German in 2008 from the University of Oregon.

The wedding will be held at 2 p.m., Aug. 23, at the Klosterkirche in Uetersen, Germany.
