AUBURN – Announcement is made of the engagement of Therese Marie Knoll and Donald Ellery White, both of Auburn.

The future bride is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Roger Rioux. She is a graduate of Edward Little High School and the University of Maine at Orono. She is a kindergarten through grade six physical education teacher in the Lewiston school system.

The future bridegroom is the son of John and Evelyn (deceased) White of Minot. He is a graduate of Edward Little High School and the University of Maine at Orono. He is an associate broker with Keller-Williams Realty Mid Maine.

The wedding will be held at 5 p.m. Aug. 23 at Turner Highlands Golf Course.
