FARMINGTON – “Captain Patch Goes to the Jungle,” a musical drama presented by children for children, will be presented Friday and Sunday, Aug. 8 and 10, at the New Hope Baptist Church, 268 Perham St.

There are approximately 30 children involved. They have been learning their songs/lines since March and will put them together in a drama camp next week. The program will be presented for the public at 7 p.m. Friday and Sunday.

The story is full of colorful characters such as Worry Warthog, Lilly the Elephant, Pahloombo Pygmy, Omelette Ostrich and Susanna Banana. Families will join Captain Patch and his crew on an adventure to the land of Afraidika as they learn lessons along the way.
