AUBURN – Tony L. Thurlow, 48, of Auburn, died Saturday, Aug. 2 at his home.

He was born in Lewiston on June 8, 1960, the son of Albert and Frances Ross Thurlow. He attended schools in Auburn and Mechanic Falls.

He had worked at area shoe shops and most recently at Jones and Vining. He loved the outdoors, music, fishing and his CB radio. Known as the “White Lion,” he will be missed by friends and CB’ers.

He is survived by his father of Mechanic Falls; brothers Thomas Thurlow and his wife, Kat, of Buckfield, Stephen Pendleton and his wife, Sherry, of Waterville, Dennis Morrell of Peru, and Chris Thurlow of Mechanic Falls; his wife, Vereen of Auburn; daughters Jennifer, Laura-Marie, Amylynn and Charadee; son Mark; sons Brian and Kevin and their mother, Terry Latham; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his mother; and his stepmother, Patricia Thurlow.
