CARTHAGE – Ted and Wanda Flagg of Carthage are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Carissa Flagg of Waterville, to James O’Connor II of Waterville, son of the late James O’Connor and Theresa and Michael Dow of Milford.

Miss Flagg is a 2003 graduate of Dirigo High School and plans to graduate from the University of Maine at Augusta in the fall with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is employed at Sears in Augusta as an in-store marketing manager.

Mr. O’Connor is a 2000 graduate of Old Town High School and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix. He is employed with T-Mobile in Oakland as a customer service representative.

The couple was engaged Sept. 8, 2007, and a September wedding is planned.
