BUCKFIELD – Dana F. Coburn, 59, of Buckfield, died at his residence Saturday, Aug. 9, with his family at his side.

He was born in Portland, May 14, 1949, the son of Cleon and Mary (Field) Coburn. He loved the outdoors especially fishing, hiking and skiing. He married Donna Keene on July 23, 1972, at the Keene family home in Buckfield, and they raised three children, a son, Zach of Buckfield, who was also his best friend, and two daughters, Sarah Buswell and companion, Brian Labreque, of Turner and Ellen and her husband, James Sanborn, of Hebron; he is also survived by three brothers, Jerry Coburn of South Paris, David Coburn of Harpswell and Robert Tyrrell of Lewiston; five grandchildren, who were the love of his life, Abigail and Samuel Buswell, both of Turner and Elisabeth, Donovan and Emily Sanborn, all of Hebron; his father and mother-in-law, Don and Laura Keene of Buckfield; and his three special friends, Doug Arthur, Bobby Bunker and Randy Stevens.

He was predeceased by his mother and father, Cleon and Mary (Field) Coburn; twin daughters, Mary Elizabeth and Betsy Laura; and a brother, Arnold Tyrrell.
