LISBON – Kathleen L. Quinlan, 64, went home to be with the Lord after a lingering illness on Monday, Aug. 11.
She was born Dec. 3, 1943, in Brockton, Mass., a daughter of John M. and Katherine (Guyette) Quinlan. She was lovingly cared for by family members and the staff at The Lamp, which became part of her extended family.
She enjoyed and participated in many activities, especially bingo and music. She was known as the “official greeter” to those who entered the facility.
Survivors include her sisters, Lillian and her husband, Norman Karkos, of Lisbon Falls and Shirley A. Quinlan of Lisbon; brother, Lawrence and his wife, Ardell Quinlan, of Brockton, Mass.; nieces, Carol Ann Wood of Mechanicsville, Md., Linda Bassett of Easton, Mass., and Melanie Cassaro of Bridgewater, Mass.; nephews, Norman Q. Karkos of New Gloucester, Andrew J. Karkos of Jacksonville, Fla., Larry Quinlan of West Bridgewater, Mass., and William Quinlan of Brockton, Mass.; many grandnieces and nephews; and special friends, Irene Lamarche and Jaye Quinlan, who gave Kathleen much care and attention.
