WENTWORTH LOCATION, N.H. – Sylvia G. (Labbe) Ouellette, 76, of Wentworth Location, N.H., and Titusville, Fla., passed away on Saturday, Aug. 9, at her home in Wentworth Location, N.H.
She was born in Berlin, N.H., on Nov. 5, 1931, the daughter of Edmond and Florence Labbe. She traveled with her husband, Maurice, during his military years and later owned and operated the Brown Owl Camps for seven years.
She wintered in Titusville, Fla., for 30 years and maintained her summer residence in Wentworth Location, N.H. She had been employed by the Balsams Grand Resort Hotel in Dixville Notch in horticulture. She loved flowers, birds, cooking for her family, her children and grandchildren.
Members of the family include her husband, Maurice R. Ouellette of Wentworth Location, N.H., and Titusville, Fla.; a daughter, Georgette Starnes and her husband, Dale, of Jay; a son, Paul E. Ouellette and his wife, Gisele, of Milan, N.H.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Barbara Labbe of Berlin, N.H.; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her brother Herbert “Bert” Labbe; and her parents.
