LEWISTON – Agreda Paquette, 94, formerly of 79 Birch St., Lewiston, died Sunday, Aug. 10, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center after a long illness.

She was born in Thetford Mines, P.Q., Canada, on Dec. 16, 1913, the daughter of Paul and Florida (Dodier) Paquette.

She was employed at the former Pepperell Mill for more than 40 years. She was a member of the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. Her hobbies included photography, especially taking candid shots of her family. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and was the “family” photographer. Her other passion was playing the piano, which she so much loved.

Survivors include four nieces, Liane Asselin and Claudette Clark and her husband, David, all of Lewiston, and Denise and Joline Paquette; two nephews, Laurence Lessard and his wife, Sheron and Gerald and Diane Lessard, all of Lewiston; two great-nieces, Kim Gee and Rochelle Clark; one great-nephew, Lynn Asselin and his wife, Silvia, of Lewiston; two great-great-nephews; and two great-great-nieces.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Rosario, and her twin brother, Aurelien; one sister, Ameda Lessard; and one nephew, Donald Lessard.
