AUBURN – Teen Open Mic will be held at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, in the Androscoggin Community Room of the Auburn Public Library.
Throughout the summer on the third Friday of each month, APL has invited singer/songwriters, instrumental musicians, stand-up comedians and spoken-word poets ages 13 to 18 to perform.
Performers sign up on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 5 p.m. Refreshments are served.
There will be a drawing of an iPod nano for teens who have participated in Teen Summer Reading 2008. You do not have to be present to win. For more information, call Sally at 333-6640, extension 4, or e-mail her at sholt@auburnpubliclibrary.org.
