FARMINGTON – The Foundry Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is offering a free grappling camp for children ages 7 to 14 from Monday, August 18 to Friday, August 22. It will be held at The Foundry on Perham Street from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. each day.

During the week-long camp, participants will learn and refine basic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu techniques from highly-skilled instructors in a safe and fun environment. Loose fitting, comfortable clothes (such as shorts and t-shirts) are recommended for those who don’t have a gi or kimono.

The class size is limited to 16 students to maximize the amount of attention and instruction each child receives.

Call to reserve a spot as soon as possible. Parents should pack a water bottle bottle or send their child with money to purchase water or juice.

A $5 donation for each participant will be accepted to cover the cost of printing materials during the week.

To find out more or to reserve a spot, please call Noel Danforth at 778-0485.

The Foundry offers certified, authentic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instruction for men, women, and children in a safe and supportive environment. Group classes and private lessons are available throughout the year. Visit www.foundrybjj.com to read testimonials, check out the class schedule or learn more about the exciting sport of BJJ.
