BRIDGTON – William A. McDaniels, 54, of Waterford, died unexpectedly early Friday, Aug. 8, at the Bridgton Hospital.

He was born in Norway, Nov. 6, 1953, the son of Wallace and M. Happy Hamlin McDaniels and attended school in Waterford. Bill worked as a welder, artist and musican. He loved his music, guitar and was an artist.

He is survived by his life-mate, Lori Watt of Waterford; two daughters, Melissa of Norway and Sierra of Waterford; his mother and stepfather, Happy and Perry Chapman of Waterford; four sisters, Betsy Hodges and Joy McDaniels, both of Florida, Mary Briggs of Waterford and Gale McDaniels of Norway; a brother, David of Norway; two granddaughters, Jazmyne and Willow; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Wallace.
