Distribution day

AUBURN – Auburn AC Serve, a part of Serve New England’s food and volunteer program, will have Distribution Day from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 23, at the Auburn Advent Christian Church, 263 Turner St., Whitney Street entrance.

League meeting

AUBURN – An informational meeting for team captains of the Central Maine Dart League will be held Monday, Aug. 18, at 6 p.m. at Andy’s Baked Beans, 47 Broad St.

Bridge results

LEWISTON – The Lewiston Social Bridge Club met on Aug. 11 at the Multi-Purpose Center. Winners in Flight A were: first, Lucille Bilodeau and Luke Merry; second, William and Cynthia Clifford; third, Richard Balian and Dick Allen; fourth, Helen Little and Alberta Turner.

Flight B winners were: first, William and Cynthia Clifford; second, Lindy and Eleanor Wigton. Another game will be played at the center at 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 18, at the center. Call Rosemarie Goodwin at 783-1734 for more information.

The Lewiston-Auburn Duplicate Bridge Club met on Aug. 12 at the Multi-Purpose Center. Winners in Flight A were: first, Jan Arey and Linda Leotsakos; second, Leslie Buzzell and Nancy Lindgren; tied at third, Leslie Lord and Lucille Theriault with Richard Balian and Woody Mercier; fifth, Doug and Betty Sise.

Flight B winners were: first, Doug and Betty Sise; second, Ron and Connie Reynolds. Another game will be played at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, at the center.

The club also met on Aug. 13 at Schooner Estates in Auburn. Flight A winners were: first, Paul Barber and Luke Merry; second, Mike and Pat Quinn; third, John Hackett and Leslie Buzzell.

Flight B winners were Dave Wallace and Tom Dahlberg. Another game will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20, at Schooner Estate. A partner is guaranteed at all games.
