FARMINGTON – A Livermore man accused of burglarizing 27 camps on Porter Lake in Strong and New Vineyard had his bail reduced by $5,500 Thursday after an appearance in court.
Shane Sturgeon, 21, is one of seven people accused of the June 16 and 17 burglaries.
Damage to the camps including broken windows was estimated at more than $100,000.
Sturgeon has been held on $7,500 bail since an appearance in court on June 25. It was reduced to $2,000 Thursday with the requirement that he enter into a pre-trial agreement that he will need to follow if he makes bail.
Sturgeon has remained at Franklin County jail in Farmington since his arrest June 23 and was still there Thursday evening.
Three juveniles and Timothy D. Lagasse, 18, of Farmington, Zachery R. Heath, 19, of Farmington, and Dylan Couturier, 18, of Livermore Falls also face charges in the case.
