TEANECK, N.J. – Patricia J. (Albright) Gorman, 75, of Oxford, a former longtime resident of Bogota, N.J., died on Saturday, Aug. 2, peacefully after a long illness.
She was born to the Rev. and Mrs. James Albright in Brooklyn, N.Y., on March 19, 1933.
Mrs. “G”, as she was affectionately known by the students at Bogota High School, served as secretary to the guidance department for 25 years. She was adored by the students of Bogota High so much that she was honored with a yearbook dedication not once, but twice during her years of service.
Pat attended Trinity Evangelical Free Church, Teaneck, N.J. After retiring, she and her husband moved to Oxford, but continued to spend time here in New Jersey, during the winter months at the home of their daughter in Dumont.
She was the beloved wife of George E. Gorman for 54 years and loving mother of four daughters and their husbands, Deborah and Richard Perry of Teaneck, N.J., Linda and Gary Hayes of Wilmington, N.C., Helen and Frederick Caso of Bloomfield, N.J., and Patricia and Robert Kerr of Dumont, N.J.; Pat was the proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren, Rick and Shaun Perry, Brendan, Daniel and Chelsea Hayes, Brittany, Jenna and Jared Caso and Shannon and Jaclyn Kerr; four great-grandchildren, Kyle, Logan, Macean and Abbie Perry; her sisters, Jane Beebe of Milford, N.J., and Suzanne Oliver of Denver, Colo.; and brother, James Albright of Waldwick, N.J.
