BOYLSTON, Mass. – The wedding of Izabela Eva Sztejner and Colby Owen Hobart was held at 1 p.m., May 31, at the First Congregational Church in Boylston, Mass. The Rev. David P. Buchanan II officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Hobart is the daughter of Zdzislaw Sztejner of Sztum, Poland, and Anna and Peter Swiatlowski of Worcester, Mass. Mr. Hobart is the son of Bruce and Ann Hobart of Mechanic Falls.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory strapless ball gown with basket weave bodice and lace trim. She wore a medium length veil accented with Swarovski crystals and a Swarovski crystal hair pin. She carried a bouquet of assorted Gerber daisies.
Kasia Maszkowska, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were April Hobart, sister of the bridegroom, Monika Parafiniuk, friend of the bride, April Narvie, stepsister of the bride, Caroline Banks, friend of the bride, Magda Parzych, cousin of the bride, Nicolette Dumond, friend of the bride, Monique Golemo, cousin of the bride, and Paul Isgro, friend of the bride. Maggie Hobart and Molly Hobart, nieces of the bridegroom, were flower girls.
Jesse Hobart was best man for his brother. Ushers were Cean Comley, friend of the bridegroom, Wojciech Sztejner, brother of the bride, and Andy Santiago, Elijah True, Jamieson Longley, Nick Bragdon and Heath Kilbreth, friends of the bridegroom. Tomasz Jadczak, godchild of the bride, was ring bearer.
The couple traveled along the California coastline for their honeymoon. They are residing in Worcester, Mass.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Worcester South High Community School in Worcester, Mass., and is currently majoring in business at Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester. She owns a business in Worcester.
The bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Edward Little High School and earned his electrical engineering bachelor’s degree in 2003 from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and his master’s degree in electrical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2006. He is an electrical engineer.
