LEWISTON – Sue A. Francoeur, 61, of Auburn passed away Sunday, Aug. 17, at Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born on Sept. 14, 1946, in Lewiston, the daughter of Harlan and Pauline (Libby) McKenney.

She worked for many years at Ames Department Store in the shoe department. She also worked for Walmart, retiring due to ill health.

She enjoyed taking care of all the babies in the family, nieces, nephews and grandson. She also enjoyed arts and crafts.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 31 years, Richard Francoeur of Auburn; son, Patrick Francoeur and his wife, Roseann, of Auburn; grandson, Douglas Francoeur of Auburn; mother, Pauline McKenny of Lisbon; brothers, David McKenney and wife, Ann, of Lewiston and Neal McKenney and wife, Diane, of Poland; sisters, Gail Stretton and husband, Richard, of Waterford, Jeanne Wood and husband, Edward, of Portsmouth, R.I., Carol Bannister and husband, Richard, of Lewiston and Beth Jones and husband, Carl, of Monmouth.

She was predeceased her father; and infant sister, Judith McKenney.
