BOSTON (AP) – State police say a 54-year-old woman has died after her motorcycle crashed in the O’Neill Tunnel.
Police say the woman was driving north on Interstate 93 about 5:45 on Monday morning when her 2007 Harley-Davidson struck the right-side wall at exit 26 to Storrow Drive. The woman then struck the handrail on the walkway atop the wall.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. One lane on the ramp was closed for nearly two hours during the crash investigation.
Police did not immediately release the woman’s name but said she was from Westport.
