ATKINSON, N.H. (AP) – A New Hampshire man received a personal thank you from presidential candidate Barack Obama when he made the 2-millionth donation to Obama’s campaign.

As a thank you, Obama’s campaign asked Ed Prouty, of Atkinson, to participate in a conference call with the Democratic candidate.

Prouty says he mostly talked with Obama about his job as a heating and air conditioning contractor.

He says he was in shock when he got off the phone. Prouty says he took a deep breath and said, “Wow, did that really happen?”
