LEWISTON – The Maine Health Care Association recently announced its “2008 Celebrating Excellence in Caregiving Award” recipients. The MHCA received nominations from all over Maine, but only 14 were chosen for the honor, including Ryan Paradis, CNA-MT at St. Mary’s d’Youville Pavilion. Paradis has been an employee at d’Youville since 2005, a team member on the 4-West long-term care unit. He was chosen for the award for the compassionate and respectful way he interacts with residents, staff and families. He will receive the award at the MHCA’s fall conference in October at the Samoset Resort in Rockport.
