Bridge play
NORWAY – The Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met Aug. 15 in the Fare Share Commons. A 4-table Howell movement was enjoyed.
First in Flight A were Marta Clements and Paul Kahl; second, Pete Cummings and John Bravo; third, Woody Mercier and Richard Balian; Flight B, first, Barbara Beegel and Jim Dickens; second Cindy and Bob Kirchherr; third, Bailey Geeslin and Nick K.
There will be another duplicate bridge game on Friday, Aug. 22. All bridge players are invited and a partner is guaranteed.

Vesper services
WEST PARIS – Vesper services will be held at 7 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 24, at the First Universalist Church of West Paris and at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 31, at the Norway Universalist Church. Members and friends are invited to both services. Regular services will begin at 9 a.m. Sunday Sept. 7 in West Paris and 11 a.m. in Norway.
Open house
WEST PARIS – There will be an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24, at the Finnish-American Heritage Center, 8 Maple St. The museum, library and gift shop will be open.
Public supper
NORTH WATERFORD – A public supper will be held from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, at the North Waterford Congregational Church located on the Five Kezars Road. The menu will include baked beans, American chop suey, casseroles, salads, brown bread, rolls, beverages and homemade pies. The cost is $7; and children under 12, $3.50.
Regular Sunday worship services will be held at 10 a.m. at the Stoneham Congregational Church during September and October The church is located on Maine Street, Route 35 in Stoneham.
