TOPSHAM – The Midcoast Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Music Director Rohan Smith, is seeking several players for its violin, viola, bass and percussion sections. Auditions will be arranged just prior to the opening rehearsal scheduled for Sept. 3.

The 70-member volunteer orchestra this year will perform symphonies by Brahms, Dvorak and Borodin. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from September through mid-May.

The MSO performs nine concerts per year – four concert series of two performances each, one at Orion Performing Arts Center in Topsham and the other at the Franco-American Heritage Center in Lewiston.

For more information, visit www.MidcoastSymphony. org. To arrange an audition, contact orchestra manager John Teller by calling 371-2028 or e-mail johnt36@verizon.net.
