Sen. Barack Obama is a potential disaster for this country. His programmed golden tongue has romanced him past the good judgment of many Americans. Yes, it is unique to have a black candidate for president. That excites those who want so much for the world to know how democracy works and this excitement clouds their thinking. Criticism of Obama is usually viewed as racial prejudice, the liberals see to that.

However, people have overlooked his lack of experience, his naiveté in dealing with ruthless foreign powers and his clearly socialist tendencies. He is influenced by family and close friends who are not proud of the United States and state racial resentment openly. He favors affirmative action (ruled unconstitutional). His planned socialist programs will raise our taxes considerably and the job market will suffer. He is unwilling to face Sen. John McCain in “town hall” debates where he can’t use a prompter. He is weak on national defense and his support of our troops. His strength of character is questionable due to the frequent “flip-flops” in his position on issues, openly trying to please as many voters as possible. He has the most liberal voting record in the Senate.

Sen. McCain is none of the above. The calm, clear judgment of voters should bring this true patriot to lead this country. We won’t agree with every one of his ideas, but we can rely on his integrity, strength of character and experience to keep the United States safe and prosperous.
