Kellie Dury of Lewiston, a computer technology major at Central Maine Community College, was recently awarded a $500 scholarship from the American Association of Women in Community Colleges. Dury also works as a student technician for the college’s Information Technology Department. Pictured making the presentation are staff members who serve as the officers for the college’s association chapter. From left are Jessica Hughes, Sheila Lawlor, Dury, Lenore Charest and Mary Fraser. The association goal is to expand opportunities for networking, increase visibility of issues that affect women at the college and provide leadership and personal development opportunities.
