LEWISTON – Roland Gendron, 77, of Lewiston, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, at Russell Park Manor. Present at the time of death was his daughter, Dianne, granddaughter, Mandy and great-grandson, Anthony.
He was born in Lewiston, Oct. 22, 1930, the son of Lucien and Alma Gendron. He worked his entire life in the shoe factory industry.
He enjoyed animals and doing things outside. He also loved watching the Boston Red Sox.
He is survived by his daughter, Dianne Guy; his granddaughters, Mandy Boudreaux and her husband, Joey, and Dorothy Gibson and her husband, Steve; his great-grandchildren, Anthony, Dennis, Erin and Nadya; and two sisters, Irene Delorme and her husband, Leo, and Alma Thibodeau.
He was predeceased by his wife, Frances Gendron; two sons, Richard Gendron and David Lemieux; two brothers, Armand and Lucien Gendron; and one sister, Lucienne Ryan.
