AUBURN – Sandra Ann ‘McArthur’ Fletcher, 45, of New Vineyard, passed away very peacefully on Aug. 22.
Sandi was born in Farmington on July 16, 1963. She will forever be remembered for her uncompromising Christian faith. She has left behind for all who knew her a legacy of devotion to the Word of God. Sandi’s most treasured accomplishment in the time that God allowed her was to be able to share the Word of God with many lost souls. She dearly loved her church family, and it was always her choice to fill her life with their presence and influence. Living the Christian life cost Sandi everything, and yet she persevered to the very end without compromise.
She enjoyed the simple things in life. She liked to fish, she loved ice cream, and she loved living in the country where she could see such wonders as the brilliant fall foliage and the abundant wildlife that God has graced our Earth with. She spent much time making her loved ones precious crocheted items that they will always treasure. Although her life was fairly short, she was able in the time she had to make a very positive difference in the lives of so many. She was always a pillar to those around her. Regardless of how bold or subtle this world’s attacks were on her, you could always count on her to remain true to the Word of God. She will be remembered as a true Christian, not only by what she professed but by the convictions she lived by.
She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Dan; her son Dale, of Palmyra, her daughter Alicia, of Farmington; her mother and stepfather Shirley and Darryl Robinson, of Farmington; her brothers Ron and Ralph, of Farmington, her sister Shirley, of Augusta; five grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
