LEWISTON – Susan L. Jones, age 41, of Riverside Drive, Mexico, died Wednesday Aug. 20, at St. Mary’s Hospital after a long illness.

She was born in Saco on May 29, 1967, a daughter of Robert C. “Jum” and Electa (Whitten) Jones. She lived in Hollis most of her childhood, where she still has many friends and family.

Her greatest joy in life was spending time with and spoiling her nieces and nephews. She loved to crochet and watch cooking on the food channel. She loved her dog Andrew very much and he will miss her.

She is survived by her parents, Robert C. “Jum” Jones and Electa (Whitten) Jones; three sisters, Marlene Jones and companion, Chad, of Rumford, Mary Jones and companion, Joe, of Rumford, and Bertha McKinnon and husband, Shawn, of Mexico; three brothers, Milan Jones and companion, Desari, of Washington, Robert P. Jones and companion, Bobbi Jo, of Florida, and Everett Jones and companion, Vicki, of Mexico; nieces, Kasey, Cheyanne, Shania, Breanne, Stephanie, Samantha, Katlyn, and Mackenzie; and nephews, Chad, Donovan, Seneca, Zachary, Michael, Steven, and Brett; aunts, Louise Patterson and husband, Robert, of Hollis, Evelyn Wescott and husband, Arthur, of Hollis, and Betty Tuttle and husband, George, of Rumford; uncles, Alvah Whitten and wife, Darlene, of No. Carolina and Roy Palmer, husband of the late Elizabeth, of Rhode Island; and close friend Rivera, and family, of Rhode Island.
