Lewiston – Susan L. Jones, 41, of Riverside Drive in Mexico, died Wednesday, Aug. 20, at St. Mary’s Hospital following a long illness.

She was born in Saco, on May 29, 1967, a daughter of Robert C. “Jum” and Electa (Whitten) Jones.

She lived in Hollis most of her childhood, where she still has many friends and family.

Susan’s greatest joy in life was spending time with and spoiling her nieces and nephews.

She loved to crochet and watch cooking on the food channel. She loved her dog Andrew, very much and he will miss her.

She is survived by her parents, Robert C. “Jum” Jones and Electa (Whitten) Jones; three sisters, Marlene Jones and companion, Chad, of Rumford, Mary Jones and companion, Joe, of Rumford and Bertha McKinnon and husband, Shawn, of Mexico; three brothers, Milan Jones and companion, Desari, of Washington, Robert P. Jones and companion, Bobbi Jo, of Florida and Everett Jones and companion, Vicki, of Mexico; nieces Kasey, Cheyanne, Shania, Breanne, Stephanie, Samantha, Katlyn and Mackenzie; and nephews Chad, Donovan, Seneca, Zachary, Michael, Steven and Brett; aunts, Louise Patterson and husband, Robert, of Hollis, Evelyn Wescott and husband, Arthur, of Hollis and Betty Tuttle and husband, George, of Rumford; uncles, Alvah Whitten and wife, Darlene, of North Carolina and Roy Palmer, husband of the late Elizabeth, of Buxton; and close friend, Carmen Rivera and family of Rhode Island.
