Registration night
GRAY – Fiddlehead Center for the Arts in Gray Village will host a registration night from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, at 25 Shaker Road, Route 26. There will be information about fall classes for adults, after-school and preschool.
Creative programs for all ages include private music lessons in piano, violin, voice, guitar and saxophone, pottery, robotics, animation, garage band, yoga, Adobe Photoshop, i-Movie, drawing, painting and languages.
The center is accepting applications for the Fiddlehead Unlimited program where a child can go to Fiddlehead five days a week from September through June. Choose from classes running from 3:30 to 5:30. Transportation is available through SAD 15 and space is limited,

Legion to meet
LISBON FALLS – Nelson-Conley American Legion Post 66 will meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, at the Slovak upstairs meeting hall, Avery Street. The agenda will include balloting on new members. All members, prospective members and active-duty personnel are invited to attend.
Sabattus seniors
SABATTUS – Sabattus Senior Citizens will have a roast pork meal at Maxwell Hall on Thursday, Sept. 4, followed by a meeting and bingo. Those who haven’t signed up should call Doris at 784-7950.

LEWISTON – The Lewiston-Auburn Social Bridge Club winners at the Multi-Purpose Center on Aug. 25 were: first, Rosemarie Goodwin and Les Buzzell; second, Jan Arey and Linda Leotsakos; third, Nancy Lindgren and Ron Reynolds; fourth, Richard Allen and Richard Balian; first in B and C, Gisele Labbe and Roger Labbe; second in B, Leslie Lord and Gail Burke; third in B, Lue Bilodeau and Luke Merry; second in C, Eileen Potvin and Della Starbird.
Winners on Aug. 18 were: first, Martine Begert and Mike Quinn; second, Dick Allen and Richard Balian; tied for third/fourth, Judy Abromson and Les Buzzell, with Cynthia Bonsey and Sue Kaluzynski, first in B and C; second in B, Nancy Farmer and Marta Clements.
